Some students from Kano state, who went to Lagos state, comprising of students of Kano Capital Secondary School and Karaye Secondary School were involved in a ghastly motor accident along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, while returning to Kano.
They were inside the school bus of Government Girls Secondary School, Bulukiya, Kano state. In addition to earlier reports, six students from Unity School, Karaye and Kano Capital Secondary School died in the horrible incident.
Immediately the sad incident occurred, three students of Kano Capital School died on the spot. Likewise, some of the students of Karaye died, with several of the occupants in the bus, sustaining various degrees of injuries, with their teachers included.
