Thomas Otuyemi, a director of account working with the Lagos state government, has been abducted along with his son by gunmen in Lagos. The abduction was said to have happened on Saturday 9th July,
Thomas Otuyemi was abducted along with his son by gunmen in Lagos The gunmen were said to have kidnapped the accountant on Saturday, July 9, but the location of the kidnap has not been disclosed.
Government officials got to know about Otuyemi’s kidnap on Sunday and the police hasbeen informed and were working frantically to rescue him and his son. The spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Dolapo Badmus, confirmed the kidnap but did not disclose the location where it occurred.
Badmus said the police were working assiduously to rescue the victim who has been in the kidnapper’s den since Saturday with his son. According to her, the kidnapped victims would soon be reunited with their family as the police were on top of the situation.
Otuyemi, born on November 26, 1956, holds a HND from the Lagos state College of Science and Technology, and a Masters degree in Business Administration, from Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.
