Three ministers in the cabinet of President Mohammadu Buhari have been confirmed sick by the Secretary to the Government of the federation (SGF), Babachir David Lawal.
These include – Aisha Alhassan (Women Affairs), Adamu Adamu (Education) and Ibrahim Usman Jubrin (State for Environment).
The disclosure was made at the Federal Executive Council (FEC)’s meeting held today at the Aso Villa, Abuja.
The SGF, when called upon to offer a Christian opening prayer before the commencement of the meeting, first prayed for quick recovery of the president currently undergoing ear treatment in London.
Lawal then continued with the Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, who he said is recuperating in US after a surgery. Then Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, who he said is down with back pain. The Minister of State for Environment, Ibrahim Jibril, was also remembered in prayers.
The Information minister, Alhaji Lai Muhammed who was earlier asked to offer the Muslim prayer by the Vice President prayed that God should grant the council wisdom to be able to take good decisions that would move the country forward.
