14 year old Olamide who played the lead role in Foluke Daramola-Salako’s movie, Cobweb, died yesterday in Lagos.
Actress Foluke took to her Instagram handle to react to the sad news. She posted apicture of the boy with the caption: “Death! Where is your string? Olamide David, my lead character in Cobweb, why does it have to be now? Why why why?”
However, a family member revealed that on Sunday, January 17, Olamide was playing football with his friends when he was mistakenly kicked in the stomach by another player. He fell to the ground and subsequently complained of pains.
Olamide was rushed to Ikeja General Hospital, Lagos where he passed on.
The young Nollywood actor bagged the award for best kid actor at the 2015, BON awards held in Akure.
