DID AIRTEL REALLY DISS MTN IN NEW ADVERT? SEE VIDEO

                         Airtel and MTN

I saw this advert earlier and did not think much of it  but looking at it again made me wonder, Was Airtel really throwing shades at MTN in this advert?

Every network provider is known to believe it has the superior network quality when compared to others and this is evident through their ad campaigns.

In this advert 'Welcome to Airtel' a man is seen calling with a yellow phone and holding a yellow bag, the call doesn’t go through and man throws the phone away out of frustration. At this point, the yellow bag  suddenly grows a pair of legs and starts running. The man chases the bag till it runs into an Airtel office where the man is welcomed with a red phone (Airtel) and the yellow bag was returned to him, turning to red instantly.

See video below;

Is there really a better network provider amongst all the the network providers we have in Nigeria? for me, i have tried them all and i can authoritatively say they are all same!

AY BEGS FOR FAIR JUDGEMENT ON LEKKI GARDENS BOSS, RICHARD NYONG

                         Lekki-Gardens32-450x330
It would be recalled that a five-storey building collapsed on Tuesday morning at the end of Kushenla road, Chisco bus stop, Ikate Elegushi-Lekki area of the state, resulting in the death of no fewer than 35 persons.

Following the development, the Lagos State Government on Friday arraigned the MD, Nyong, and a contractor handling the collapsed story building before an Ebute-Meta Magistrate Court.

Nyong and the contractor were arraigned over their alleged roles in the Tuesday’s building collapse in Lekki area of the state.

In her verdict, the presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Afolashade Bokotu, ordered that Richard and Taiwo, who were brought to the court in handcuffs earlier on Friday be kept in police custody at the State Department of Criminal Investigation Yaba for the next 30 days, pending the conclusion of police investigation.

However, in view of this, popular comedian cum Actor, Ayo Makun also known as AY who was once an ambassador of Lekki Gardens, has written an open letter to Nigerians, asking people and the law to be fair to Nyong.

See what he posted on Instagram;

“The Collapse of the Lekki Garden building is indeed an unforeseen tragedy that still hits me all the way to my soul.
“My deepest sympathy and condolences to those people who have died, been hurt and people who lost their love ones.

“As a one-time ambassador to Lekki Gardens, it will be difficult to disengage myself from the company whose vision was designed to help every common man to becoming landlords in Nigeria.

“In times like this we are one family. Let us standup and pray for all the families who have suffered and wish them peace in knowing that their loved ones may have gone on ahead of them to be with God Almighty.

“I know there is nothing I can say to ease anyone’s sorrow, but this is just to let these families know that my thoughts are with them. As we sympathize with the families of the bereaved, let me clearly state that every human life is of inevitable value.

“No sentiment or general conviction would justify the sacrifice of human life. For this reason I have maintained a position of silence because of my affiliations with Lekki Gardens. The care of human life and property is one of the core responsibilities of a good government. Hence I will also not blame the government and their ‘quick response’ actions against the management of Lekki Gardens.

“Finally, I do know that the social Media is now for the good, the bad and the ugly. It is even more of an open battlefield, where abuses fly from one to another, destroying lives, self-esteem and individual self-worth.

“As much as I still believe in the vision of Mr. Richard Nyong’s Lekki Garden Real Estate project that has delivered over 6,000 homes to Nigerians, I want to hold hands with the Lekki Gardens family and grow stronger during this time of despair, and pray for a man whom has become a victim of circumstance.

“A man who truly cares for others, a man who has helped a lot of people within and outside his community, a man who single handedly handled the constructions and repairs of Government roads within Lekki, a creator of employment to thousands.

“This is not to position him above the law, it is a beacon for fairness within due process, peace and justice. #letsbefair,” AY solicited.

LADY WHO OPERATED ON HER DEAD PREGNANT SISTER IN CAMEROON MAY BE PROSECUTED(GRAPHIC VIDEO)

Horror in Cameroon as dead woman's sister is forced to use blade to remove twins from her belly.

The pregnant woman got to the hospital in a taxi and upon arrival she was found dead, but the twins in her belly were kicking(crying for air).

The family rushed her to Laquantini Hospital in Douala Cameroon and begged the doctors to remove the babies but they refused and asked the woman's family to take her to the morgue.

The family argued that the babies were still alive and kicking inside the dead woman but the hospital refused to touch her,

frustrating the deceased's sister, who took matters in her own hands and decided to operate on her sister with a blade.

One baby came out dead and the other came out breathing but later gave up the ghost.

This has caused a serious protest as the angry crowd attempt to burn down the hospital.

According to Cameroonian journalist Yanick Fonki Ndaley, at least one person has been injured following plumes of teargas thrown on unarmed protesters calling for justice on the unprecedented death of Koumate and her babies on Sunday, March 13th.

“Irate protesters now running helter skelter as the police is trying to make arrests. A little over 100 people turned out on Sunday in protest, pressuring the government of Cameroon to dismiss some medics at the hospital, including the director, for gross neglect of the health of its citizens,”

Reacting to the outrage that trailed the incident, Cameroon Health Minister Andre Mama Fouda refuted claims that Ms. Koumate died out of negligence from medics at the Laquintini hospital in Douala.

Speaking Sunday evening during a press conference in his ministry to address issues relating to the death of the 31-year-old woman and her 7 months babies, the minister indicated the woman had already died before she was brought to the hospital.

According to Ndaley, the minister went further to say that it is medically ethical not to conduct operation on a dead woman indicting the actions of the niece of the deceased.

“This now gives a great indication, the director and medics at Laquintini hospital will be spared from any prosecution while on the other hand, the niece of Monique could be prosecuted,” Ndaley added.
